Analyst, human resources consulting (2 positions)

From Tunis, you contribute to the mandates of the human resources consulting team of a Canadian accounting, tax and advisory firm based in Quebec: you produce the analyses and deliverables, and follow them through to hand-over to the client. You work day to day, remotely, with its advisors.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out compensation analyses: salary structures, market comparisons, pay scales
  • Contribute to pay equity exercises, under Quebec legislation
  • Draft employee handbooks, HR policies and procedures
  • Design training material for managers and employees
  • Take part in training projects — educational, organisational and operational aspects: content, exercises and assessment tools
  • Prepare client meetings and attend them by video call, then lead some as you progress
  • Write and format reports, presentations and spreadsheets in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Explain complex concepts in plain terms to executives and non-specialist managers
  • Coordinate the stages of mandates, organise meetings and follow up
  • Keep progress up to date and flag the risk of delay early

Profile

  • Training in human resources or a relevant field
  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience in human resources
  • Excellent written and spoken French, with careful writing
  • Excellent command of Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Curiosity, rigour and attention to detail
  • Ability to explain complex concepts simply
  • Autonomy, organisation and a sense of priorities
  • Interpersonal ease and the ability to challenge diplomatically

Nice to have

  • Experience in an industrial or factory setting (a major plus)
  • Knowledge of compensation
  • Experience in a consulting firm
  • Knowledge of Quebec employment law, including pay equity
  • Professional English
